Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades Upgrading gear increases its base stats and sometimes enhances its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the number of random augmentations that are applied. The most powerful racial Shield Razortail, for example, is often upgraded to increase its lightning absorption capabilities in PvP and/or provide additional defenses to missile-based build in the PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the non-upgraded perfect version. Reroll Tokens Reroll tokens permit you to reroll a purchased item, such as a weapon, armor or ring. The item is replaced by another item of the same type however with different bonuses. Reroll tokens are an efficient method of upgrading equipment. They don't maintain the original equipment's condition, and any resources wasted will not be refunded. The surviving players can acquire Reroll tokens in a variety of ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in crates and chests, or purchase them from the stores for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to change the attribute of an item of equipment such as increasing the damage it can cause. Players can roll their equipment in three categories: physical power, magic power and health. Physical power increases the damage caused by melee and weapons while spell power boosts mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades give the player additional health. There are three types of Reroll tokens: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades the item to higher quality. To create them, you'll need an upgrade level reroll token. Upgrades require a common item. Rare upgrades require an item that is either unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces. item upgrades for rerolling, unlike markers or tokens that are placed on action areas, remains on the space until the next Success is rerolled. This lets you save upgrades. Blueprints are envelopes that show up at the start of each Preparation phase. They can be opened using Interact by pressing on them. When they are opened they show a complete description and icon of the corresponding Appliance or Ingredient. The restaurant's shop will trade blueprints for a brand new appliance or ingredient for a small amount. In the course of a run, blueprints can be transferred between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool due to chosen Franchise Cards. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop offers to reroll, and those that are located in the Non-droppable Pool. Growthstones In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve weapons, armor and accessories. These stones are special stones which increase the value of an item by increasing its stats or characteristics. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the major towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a price. Moreover, players can obtain these stones by signing daily contracts. To upgrade their gear players must first identify the appropriate item, and then click on the “level up” button. The menu will appear that shows the item's current status and what it will be after being upgraded and the required amount of Growth Stones to achieve this. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Most often rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, while uncommon armor requires just one blue or green Growth Stone. After deciding on what to upgrade, players must select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the appropriate cost. Once the player has satisfied the requirements, they can hit the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. This will raise the item's level by a specific percentage. Depending on the item's rarity, the upgrade process can take between seconds and minutes. The upgrade process is safe and doesn't impact the longevity of the item. The system is an excellent choice for those who wish to gain an advantage in battle but don't want spend a lot of money. Moreover, players can transfer the experience and the progress of an upgraded item onto a new item by clicking the “transfer” tab. The process of getting Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be daunting for new players. However, there are numerous methods to obtain them, including signing contracts and buying them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from the reward chests that are available during the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down the higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones. Leveling Leveling is an option that allows players to increase the stats of their weapons armor, helms and trinkets. The Upgrade Station allows you to combine an item with upgrade materials and then pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The upgrade components will be used up and the item will be upgraded to an upgrade to a higher level. This process can continue until the item is at its highest level. Items that have upgraded stats will display a blue icon next to their slot. Unlike enchantments, however, upgrade components don't stack with one another, and can only be added to one item at a time. Additionally each upgrade component will require a certain quantity of items to be used and an initial amount for the equipment. The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can place an item to be upgraded. On the right side, an image of the equipment will look like when it reaches its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow after is a player has enough resources will begin the upgrade process. A piece of equipment may be upgraded up to five times. Each time the item is upgraded, its base stats will be increased by a small percentage. The highest level for an item is 19. Once an item has reached its maximum level, its upgrades will not be available for it. Also, when a piece of gear reaches an upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer), upgrades to that track will have a discount. Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can be inserted into weapons, armor trinkets and gathering tools to give an added bonus or effect when the equipment is in use. They can be bought from vendors, looted, or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced by new ones, but doing so will damage the previous upgrade, with the exception of for glyphs that can be replaced and removed at any time. Requirements Upgrades to items allow players to boost the stats of certain armors and weapons they already have equipped. The requirements for upgrading an item will vary based on the kind of item however, generally you'll require Dilithium and a number of Upgrade Tokens (various options are available). The upgrade item s can be used to make sets and weapons for added effects or a higher item level. These upgrades can come from a variety of sources, such as crafting, buying at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting during bosses and raids. Once an upgrade component is added to an object it isn't able to be removed or replaced. However it is possible to swap glyphs freely. Upgrading an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Some upgrade components come with additional modifiers that can improve the item's stats. For instance, the helm upgrade “Foundation of the Sun” increases base defense, and adds an extra 20% chance to block. Additionally, the dps upgrade “Wildfire” increases weapon damage. Certain items benefit from being upgraded less for their increased stats and more for the fact that it lets players get the most value out of a perfect roll on the item. For instance, a flawlessly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50x more than the non-upp'd version. The game will show you the requirements when you select the upgrade component to be incorporated into the item. The game will display the requirements required when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item. The game will place an item in your inventory when you have fulfilled the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will update to show how close to getting the upgrade completed. You can also track the status of an item upgrade by visiting any NPC who upgrades items.
